MISSION STATEMENT Overtime performance focuses and specializes in sports specific training. Whether you're a novice athlete, or a competitive player aspiring to achieve a higher level of competition, Overtime Performance will enhance aspects of your game needed to achieve success. We do this by emphasizing the PRICE acronym need for personal success. Persistence: Focusing on the task/ goal at hand in each training session. Respect: Respecting parents coaches and teachers that are there to support your success. and most of all one self. Integrity: Being honest and believing in ones’ self and respecting those that are there to help you. Commitment: We will reinforce the Dedication and determination needed in achieving a goal. Excellence: The achievement of ones’ goal! Overtime performance specializes on enhancing functional strength, power and agility, while simultaneously focusing on sports specific energy systems: anaerobic lactic acid or aerobic alactic. Being able to increase your oxygen functionality and efficiency is key to success. Overtime Performance will challenge you to raise your game to the next level and will give you the edge when the game is depending on you the most. Overtime Performance has adopted these versatile and state-of-the-art equipment and training techniques to create a competitive fun atmosphere.

Rumolo has had an extremely successful playing and coaching career beginning at the University of Akron, where he was a team captain and four-year letterman and earned first-team all-Mid-American Conference honours (NCAA) in his junior and senior years. He was the 12th overall pick by the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the 1997 Canadian Football League (CFL) draft and spent eight years in the CFL, advancing to the Grey Cup in 1998. He also spent three years in the Arena Football League with the Buffalo Destroyers. After retiring in 2004 he began his football coaching career at the CIS ( Canadian inter-University Sport) level. As Assistant Head Coach / Defensive Coordinator /Defensive Line Coach as well as the head strength and conditioning coach for the University of Toronto 2004-2008 and Co-Defensive Coordinator / Defensive Line Coach for York University2010-2012. Rumolo was selected to coach defensive line for the East team at the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 East-West All-Star Game. Rumolo's professional teaching and coaching career reflects over 13 years of teaching, and coaching, Rumolo also taught, trained and coached at the Birchmount Exceptional Athlete Program (B.E.A.P), where by his responsibilities were to ensure elite athlete academic support as well as sport specific training. Such athletes were in pursuit of athletic scholarships, as well as Olympic and professional status. Such athletes include: Clifton Dawson: Running back finished his N.F.L career with the Houston Texans of the National Football League. Clifton played three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. His 4841 yards rushing while at Harvard broke a long-standing Ivy League record. Clifton broke every rushing and scoring record Harvard has kept. Crispin Duenas: Competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing in the sport of Archery. Crispin finished in 16th overall after Round 1 but was eliminated in a Pre-Quarter Final in extra arrows. Wayne Simmonds: Currently with the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League (N.H.L.) Wayne has a Gold medal from the World Junior Championships. Many other athletes went on to receive full athletic scholarships. Rumolo served as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator duties at Birchmount Collegiate from 1999 to 2003, helping the school to Scarborough championships and appearances in the Metro Bowl in 2000, 2001 and 2003). In his attempt to stay current with the ever-changing fitness trends and training methods Rumolo has generated unique training programs that focus on all aspects of athletic development. George Trifon - Head Trainer George Trifon has been part of the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Men’s Hockey coaching staff since 2004 as an assistant coach. Within his tenure, the Varsity Blues program has fielded many top 10 nationally ranked teams, graduating many players who have progressed to the professional level. Trifon has also been involved with various hockey schools for the past 12 years as a senior/head instructor, working with and developing athletes from 6 – 26 years of age. A graduate of University of Toronto, Trifon has two degrees, Bachelor of Commerce ’04 and Bachelor of Education ’05. As a player (1999-2004), he had an impressive varsity career. Trifon was a 2 time Ontario University Athletics (OUA) all-star, as well as a 2 time U of T leading scorer. His play and dedication to both athletics and academics landed him University of Toronto athlete of the year nominations in four of his five year university career. Trifon had a 4 year (1994-1999) junior career with the Pickering Panthers of the OPJHL, in which he was named league MVP ’99, as well as, capturing the Eastern Conference scoring title. In 1996, Trifon was drafted to the Ottawa 67’s of the OHL. Currently a 9 year teacher specializing in Health and Physical Education and Weight Training with the Toronto District School Board. |
